Do guests or voters need accounts?
No. Only the organizer needs an Overlap account. Guests book or vote from the shared page.
Does Overlap support Outlook?
Yes. Hosts can connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365/Outlook. Manual availability and date overrides also work without a connection.
Does a poll automatically book a time?
The organizer reviews the result and confirms the best eligible overlap in one click. This avoids silently booking a tie, a stale option, or a time the host no longer wants.
Can two guests take the same slot?
Confirmed bookings are protected by a database-level overlap constraint. If simultaneous requests race, only one succeeds.
How does Team pricing work?
Team is one flat subscription for a link owner and up to 10 invited teammates on each Team booking link. Invitees must accept before their availability is used.
Can I use Overlap without connecting a calendar?
Yes. Publish weekly availability, add date overrides, and manually block external conflicts. Calendar connections improve automatic conflict detection.
Is Overlap for schools?
Adult administrators, educators, PTA members, and parents can use it for adult-managed scheduling. It is not directed to children and should not be used to intentionally collect children's data without required review and consent.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Signed-in users can download a JSON export or permanently delete their account from dashboard settings.
