No. Only the organizer needs an Overlap account. Guests book or vote from the shared page.

Yes. Hosts can connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365/Outlook. Manual availability and date overrides also work without a connection.

It can. Pro and Team organizers may opt in, set a voting deadline, require a minimum number of unique voters, and choose whether an equal-score tie uses the earliest or latest time. If quorum is missed or the winner conflicts, nothing is booked and the organizer is asked to review it. Otherwise the organizer can always finalize manually in one click.

Yes. Pro and Team organizers can create 2–12 round series that repeat weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. Each round remains an independent poll. The next round opens only after the current result is safely locked in, carrying forward shifted candidate times, the deadline, controls, and invitees without sending every future poll at once.

No. Overlap briefly reserves a selected time while the first guest enters their details, then performs a final calendar and database conflict check before confirming. If simultaneous requests race, only one succeeds.

Team is one flat subscription for a link owner and up to 10 invited teammates on each Team booking link. Invitees must accept before their availability is used.

Yes. Publish weekly availability, add date overrides, and manually block external conflicts. Calendar connections improve automatic conflict detection.

Yes. In Dashboard → Settings, disconnect Google or Outlook independently. Overlap immediately removes its stored connection and stops reading busy times or creating new events there. Existing calendar events are not deleted.

Adult administrators, educators, PTA members, and parents can use it for adult-managed scheduling. It is not directed to children and should not be used to intentionally collect children's data without required review and consent.

Yes. Signed-in users can download a JSON export or permanently delete their account from dashboard settings.
